SERVICE ABOVE SELF
Our club’s first fifty years have produced many worth while humanitarian projects. Some were for people overseas, and others benefited our neighbors. Our club continues to support Rotary International’s work to eradicate polio, support water and sanitation projects, provide shelters for disaster victims, fund surgical teams to third world countries, provide clean and safe water, and a great deal more. Here in Broomall, our members help establish Broomall Rotary Field at Veterans Park, furnish bus shelters, provided playground equipment in parks, fund the building of Bocce courts, donated computers and equipment to the library grant scholarships and fund several community and humanitarian causes.

What we do best in our own way is make people feel good about their community and themselves. Programs such as Student of the Month, Vocational Awards and the Scholarship Fund give pride to young people and their families. Equally significant are our five community events, which are: Christmas Sharing, Pictures with Santa, Junior Olympics, Firecracker 5K, and Doggy Show. These programs are celebrations of our community and a reflection of the spirit of Rotary.
